Harry Potter
Following the popularity of an ARRIVA London Routemaster, which was wrapped for Warner Bros to publicise the film ‘Harry Potter And The Prisoner of Azkaban’, we were approached by Viacom to recreate the Harry Potter bus for a second time, to promote the release of the film on video and DVD; the difference this time was that Warner Bros wanted to take the bus on tour around the UK.
This we agreed to do, and the bus set off on its journey in November 2004, visiting numerous locations as far afield as Edinburgh and Bristol.
It visited a number of Asda stores, and venues such as Newcastle's Millennium Bridge, Leeds United Football Club and Old Trafford. The bus was an immediate hit whenever it stopped and never faltered over the two thousand miles covered.
It is difficult to assess the total audience, but this must have been somewhere in the region of several hundred thousand.
