Routemaster RM 5 Exhibition - The Restoration of a London Icon

The restoration has taken many months, and been subject to meticulous attention to detail, made possible by the engineering skills of the current owners, Arriva, and an external sponsor.
The restored RM 5 will appear for the first time at the London to Brighton HCVS run on 3rd May.
An exhibition on the restoration programme will be held from 8th to 10th May at London Transport Museum, and RM 5 will be on display on the piazza adjacent to the Museum on the Saturday and Sunday.
Following the exhibition, RM 5 will rejoin eight other Routemasters as part of The Arriva Heritage Fleet.
Also at the exhibition, a DVD describing the restoration will be available, together with a limited-edition model of the bus, and other memorabilia. The details of the project to restore this important survivor from the earliest days of the Routemaster-era should prove very popular, so please come along and enjoy this great event.
