EFE the main sponsors of Showbus, have allowed two of the Heritage Fleet, RM 5 and RML 2360, to be parked along side their Marquee for the duration of the show.

RM 5 successfully completed a 65 mile road run on Sunday 16th August around the leafy lanes of Hampshire and was awarded a trophy for the best participating P.S.V.

Friday 14th August 2009 saw the Heritage Fleet's RM5 in Ickenham (west of London) to take guests to the wedding of Kate and Lee at Uxbridge registry office.

Beatles Day was celebrated in Liverpool this year on 10th July.

Louise, the daughter of Arriva Londons Engineering support manager Mike Trodden, was married in Bletchley, followed by a reception at Towcester racecourse. Many of the guests were chauffeured between the church and the racecourse in the Arriva Heritage Fleets RM 2217.

RM 5, one of the survivors from Routemaster days, has been the subject of a detailed and high quality restoration, reminding us of the impact the type made when first appearing on London's streets.
